What better way to start a new Rotary year than to brainstorm a "Vision of Progress" for the year ahead and to facilitate the task, club President Bill Pearl brought in an outside expert, Gail A. Landen, President of Gayle A. Landen & Assciates, Inc. Gayle Landen is a recognized leader in the design, development, implementation and facilitation of workshops, seminars and training programs. Gayle's experience includes being the Executive Director of Communities In Schools to help at risk students in Palm Beach County, and before becoming the President of Landen, Wells & Associates, Gayle was the first woman Executive Consultant in Organizational Research and Development for General Motors Corporation. Also during her five years with GM, she was director of Organization Development and Training for GM's Central Foundry Division. Prior to joining General Motors, Mrs. Landen was manager of Organization Development and Personnel Research for John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company. Currently President of Gayle A. Landen & Associates, Mrs. Landen's consulting experience includes directing quality of work life activities and cooperative labor-management efforts, developing survey instruments and processes, and advising on Human Resources systems, strategic planning, organizational redesign and new plant startups.
